Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Consultative Committee
The Central
Government appoints this advisory committee to advise Central Government and
State Governments on the matters pertaining to NDPS Act, 1985. The Committee
consists of the Chairman and not more than 20 persons appointed by the Central
Government. The tenure, constitution of sub-committes, cooption of members,
filling up of casual vacancies, allowances, etc, are workout by the Government
in consultation with this committee.
